Built on community.

MMA, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, striking and kids classes in Tallaght, led by former UFC flyweight Paddy Holohan.

Everyday people. Real martial arts.

The most common member is an everyday human being: working full-time, raising a family, in school, or looking for fun, fitness and community.

Both floors

The whole school

Upstairs is dedicated to grappling and groundwork. The ground floor holds a dedicated striking and MMA space, bags and equipment, and the school's 18ft octagon.

Eight coaches, led by Paddy Holohan.

Also under this roof: strength and conditioning through King of Kings (booked separately), a reception and family lounge with a view of the mats, showers and changing, and free parking outside.

Some of our members fight.

Real

Most just show up and train. Every one of them is welcome.

Four ways to train.

Beginners start on the fundamentals. There is no expectation to compete.

Brazilian Jiu-JitsuUpstairs, on the mats

Takedowns, self-defence, positional control, escapes and submissions. Jiu-jitsu builds skill through technique, using positioning and control on the ground.

Beginners learn the fundamentals in a friendly, low-pressure class. Advanced sessions let experienced students drill, roll and put those fundamentals into practice.

Bring sportswear and a gum shield. Ask the team about a rash guard and Gi before buying equipment.

Mixed Martial ArtsGround floor, with the octagon

Boxing, wrestling, Muay Thai, jiu-jitsu and other martial arts together. Build confidence standing, in the clinch and on the ground.

Foundation MMA breaks the sport into approachable pieces for people beginning their journey. Advanced MMA is for experienced members on the Onyx programme, with drilling and sparring under the coaches. Ask what equipment you need before your first session.

StrikingGround floor

Footwork, head movement, combinations and pad work, drawing on Muay Thai and boxing.

Beginner striking builds the mechanics without sparring. More experienced members develop through detailed drills and coached sparring. The school also offers boxing: contact the team for the current class mix.

WrestlingTakedowns and control

Develop takedowns, control and the movements that connect standing work to the ground. Sessions use upper and lower body exercises and drills to build the complete wrestler.

Sportswear and a gum shield are recommended. Wrestling boots are optional.

Growing Gorillas

Games, movement and martial arts that build focus, confidence and teamwork. Slide to your child's age.

Ages 7 to 9 · three times a week

Chimps

A very energetic group who question everything, which is great. Respect in training, the importance of training as a team, and their first BJJ belt: hard work and focus pay off.

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, grappling and striking. Game breakers. First matches within class.

“I am passionate about taking both average and naturally athletic people out of their comfort zone and into something new.”

Your first step. We'll take it with you.

What do I bring?

Sportswear and a gum shield. Ask the team about a rash guard and Gi before buying any equipment, and ask what you need before your first MMA session.

I have never trained. Is that OK?

Yes. The Emerald programme is built for beginners and people coming back to martial arts. Beginner striking builds the mechanics without sparring, and there is no expectation to compete.

How old do kids need to be?

Growing Gorillas starts at age 4 and runs to 16, in four groups by life stage.

Is strength and conditioning included?

Strength and conditioning runs through King of Kings at the facility. It is booked separately from martial arts membership.

Is there somewhere to wait, and parking?

Yes. Reception and the family lounge have seating, a TV, games and space for children. Kids can settle into homework after school, and parents can catch up on work around class time, with a view of the mats. Free parking is right outside and showers and changing are inside.

Every membership starts with a tour.

Before joining, you are invited in for a membership consultation and a tour of the gym. Together you work out which level suits you. Ask for current prices there.
